There are many password managers under Apple’s mobile operating system – KeePass Touch for iOS offers a good, free option! MiniKeePass has convinced many in the past. But the service was discontinued mid 2020. KeePass Touch can be used as an alternative. There is an InApp purchase of advertising disabled and the “autofill” feature enabled. This will cost 1.09 EUR. This model is basically not unusual. The development of software is finally expensive. Especially the Dropbox version is easy to implement. If you want to exclude the use of American services, you can use your own server or opt for the WLAN variant.

A free password manager for iOS is possible!

If you decide to use KeePass under iOS, you are on the right track. The Stiftung Warentest investigated password managers in early 2020. Out of 14, 3 scored well. One of the test winners, in the area of free providers, is KeePass. By the way, the general test winner is KeePeer.

Closely followed by 1Password. However, both alternatives cost money. But if online password managers allow free access, this is usually severely to very severely limited and should lead to a purchase in the end.
