Everyone can do their part to keep coronavirus infections low to protect the weakest in society – that’s why AWARE7 GmbH is working from home from today!
These are extraordinary times when unusual measures contribute to the protection of everyone – but above all to the protection of the weakest in society. Even though we appreciate social contact very much, it is the wisest thing for society to do without it now.
Social Distancing is an effective measure to limit infections
Even though we are used to fighting invisible enemies, the current situation is an absolute exception for us, as for many other companies. If it is usually scams and cyber attacks that keep us busy, the topic Corona is very present in the last days. Special broadcasts and extensive reporting characterize, besides numerous press conferences, the current media.
But especially enlightenment is a central topic. At this point we want to refer to the great Instagram channel of quarks, which also clears up many uncertainties in the virus topic. The comparison to the flu is also clearly and unambiguously presented here.
The current ignorance about the coronavirus naturally contributes to the uncertainty. What is certain is that the infection rate of corona is considerably higher than that of influenza.
Social distancing can be used to limit the rapid spread of this disease. In this way, it is hoped that the health system will not be overloaded and that the care of those infected will be ensured. After all, health is not everything, but everything is nothing without health. The Washington Post has written an interesting, interactive article on social distancing that explores how exponential growth looks like and why social isolation helps to stop infections.
Home office and digitalization are key factors!
In many professions it is technically possible to work from home without any problems. Digital teaching is also technically possible. From the beginning, AWARE7 GmbH has focused on processes that can be digitally mapped and executed from anywhere in the world. It now gives us the possibility to switch to the home office mode without much effort. Even if lectures in this form do not have the same character, we will digitally implement all appointments where it is possible and desired.
A crisis often also contains chances. This is also true for online learning and the strategy of how we as a company can act quickly when such problems arise. We share our experiences and talk about the optimal working in the home office and the best practices of the AWARE7 employees.
We are available by telephone during our normal business hours. We wish you much health and cohesion in this extraordinary situation.
