MENSCHpunktNull – Our contribution to a digital future!

Together with various people who are professionally committed to a liveable digital present and digital future, we have written a book. The book is called “MENSCHpunktNull” and deals with the different facets of digitalisation and its effects on society. We offer the 196-page book for free download as PDF.

HUMANPOINTZERO – Design approaches for the digital society

We would therefore like to thank the two editors Andreas Schiel and Andreas Seidel in the first place, who have guided and accompanied the entire process from the idea to the finished digital book. For a digital future, it is precisely this interdisciplinary approach that has been lacking in Germany to date. Researchers from different disciplines must work more closely together to understand the overall concept of “digitisation”.

Different aspects of the digital future

The collaboration of many different authors made this book project exciting for us as well. From philosophers to digitisation consultants and senior managers, many exciting people have been involved in the project.

The contributions are also multilayered. They range from the “search for humanity” and the question of what machines (still?) cannot do to a case study of virtual teams. This is certainly an interesting contribution, especially with regard to the planned home-office law, which fits well into the current political discussion.

Digital future but secure!

Our chapter deals with the currently growing global threats to individuals and citizens from cybercrime. We describe general risks for users from malware to social engineering. The book can be downloaded free of charge. A glance at our publications is enough. It’s easier if you fill in the following form. Of course, the description of risks does not stop there. Solutions are also presented and discussed. For example, how to prevent digital identity theft among children and young people. This is a growing problem, especially in the transatlantic area.
